Belinda Garza Hartwig is the Vice President of Economic Development at the San Antonio Chamber of Commerce. She supports the growth and success of several of San Antonio’s major industries, including aerospace, health care/bioscience and tourism. Belinda leads the annual SA to DC fly-in, pulling through her professional experience from Washington, DC. Prior to joining the Chamber in 2016, Belinda worked in our Nation’s Capital as the Vice President of Government Relations and Public Engagement at Univision Communications Inc., and spent more than a decade in the Federal Government Relations office for Walmart Stores, Inc. where she managed a number of policy issues for the company. She began her career on Capitol Hill working for San Antonio Congressman Ciro Rodriguez and has served on many boards including the Capital Area Food Bank and Congressional Hispanic Leadership Institute. Belinda has a bachelor’s degree in international business from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
